Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Mochi Money mobile application (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Use and restrictions
- The App is intended for personal use only and should not be used for any illegal activities.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter into the App.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the App.
Data storage
The App uses Apple’s iCloud to store and sync your data across your devices. Your financial data, including transactions, budgets, wallets and preferences, is stored in your personal iCloud account. No personal data is stored on any server accessible by the developer. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for keeping an active iCloud account with enough storage for the App to sync. Syncing requires an internet connection; the App itself works offline.
In-app purchases
The App is free to download. Mochi Money Pro is an optional in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.
- Mochi Money Pro is currently offered as a one-time purchase that gives lifetime access to Pro features on devices signed in to the same Apple Account. You can restore it at any time from the App.
- In-app purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple’s refund policies.
- If we offer subscriptions in the future, they will renew automatically and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your Apple Account settings. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices are subject to change. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made.
App Store terms
The App is subject to the standard terms and conditions set by the Apple App Store, including Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to Apple’s App Store Terms and Conditions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use or inability to use the App. The developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the information provided by the App. The App is a tool for tracking your own spending and does not provide financial advice.
The developer is not responsible for any service interruptions, data loss or security breaches caused by third-party service providers, including Apple iCloud. While we rely on reputable service providers, their services are subject to their own terms and conditions.
Intellectual property
The App, including all its content, features, the Mochi character and functionality, is owned by the developer and is protected by intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that you have no ownership or intellectual property rights in the App.
Dispute resolution
Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through negotiation and, if required, through binding arbitration conducted by a mutually agreed-upon arbitrator.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
